The estimated number of people affected by lymphedma in the UK is approximately: 2.418.750


ENGLAND = 2.036.250

SCOTLAND = 198.750

WALES = 116.250

NORTHERN IRELAND = 67.500


Birth related Primary lymphedema is estimated to affect more than 10.000 within the UK. The estimated prevalence in primary lymphedema is 1:6000
